Persado is looking for a Data Analyst based out of Athens to support the Data Science team. In this role, you will act as a key point of analytical support for various departments in the company and your analyses will critically impact the decision making capability of other roles within the company. You will also, participate in development and application of new innovating statistical techniques in several business problems.
Responsibilities
Participate in management of marketing campaigns, applying your statistical expertise
Build and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor the performance of Persado’s projects
Interact with clients to understand available data and KPIs, guide clients on adequate reporting and analysis, create client facing presentations and be subject matter expert during data/result related client meetings
Build new tools, predictive models and churn prediction models
Design experiments and statistically analyze them
Cluster large databases using advanced data mining techniques
Get new insights from past campaign data; Use database queries and advanced data analysis to find patterns and trends on current and past customers’ behavior
Present your findings to management and guide decision making processes
Qualifications
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or any relevant field
- 2+ years of working experience involving quantitative Data Analysis
- In-depth understanding of trade-offs between different methods and operation domains, hands-on familiarity on statistical modelling, regression analysis, classification, clustering, information extraction
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong experience in at least one data analytics language like R or Python
- Experience in SQL and relational databases
- Experience in building Excel Dashboards for monitoring purposes
- Experience in Text Mining is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
