Generation Y – International eBusiness Experts, a well-established and
highly successful interactive agency based in Athens, Greece, seeks a Business Development Manager.
Our Senior UI Designer at Generation Y should be passionate and have a strong attention to detail for creating breath-taking and innovative projects. Ready to jump-on project at every stage of the lifecycle, from brainstorming kick-ass concepts within the project team and developing original ideas, to participating in client and internal stakeholder’s presentations and ensuring deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational and Customer Relationship activities,
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas,
- Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business,
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the company s ambitious growth,
- Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets,
- Responsible for locating new opportunities for the company by visiting existing and new customers,
- Identifying new sales leads, pitching products and/or services, maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers,
- Has direct contact with people of all levels, both internally and externally, and works with customers’ procurement and engineering groups,
- Must be responsive to the customers’ needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal,
- Makes presentations to various groups within the customer’s organization when needed,
- Attends trade shows along with different conferences, both educational and customer oriented,
- Responsible for all internal project.
- Reporting to Chief Executive Officer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 year s experience within Business Development/New Business or Account Management role (experience within the media, marketing and communications world preferred)
- BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline
University master degree will be considered an asset - Experience working in a marketing / agency/ media environment and understanding of the industry
- Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both written & spoken
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic
- Very strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills
