blueground is a venture capital backed hospitality company that provides business executives, who need accommodation for periods of 1-month or longer, with beautifully furnished and serviced apartments in the most sought after locations.The company has demonstrated an exponential growth consistently over the last years in the markets that is active: Athens, Istanbul, Dubai and New York City.
We are looking to recruit an intuitive Business Intelligence Analyst based in our HQs in Athens with the principal role to focus on providing accurate, relevant and timely business insights to management in order to support decision making and revenues growth. The ideal candidate will be working with large data-sets from varied resources across functions to acquire overall understanding in relation to changing internal performance demands, as to report accordingly. Whether you are building a business case or implementing process efficiency it will be your ability to take the lead and challenge ideas to drive our product and organizational strategy forward!
Responsibilities
- Develop new, regular and automated reports from existing databases to meet changing business needs
- Identify and acquire necessary data from multiple sources and organize/clean/transform the information to enhance operational data quality
- Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action
- Provide end to end KPI tracking or ad hoc analysis as required by defining requirements and providing simplified explanations
- Act as liaison with key business partners to ensure full understanding of data flow, data integrity and business systems quality
- Ensure availability of optimal reporting tools for key stakeholders to enhance their business objectives
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university, master’s degree welcome but not required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with BI analytics
- Proficiency in English
- Solid computer skills, managing data in Microsoft SQL is a must
- Keen eye for details and aptitude for working with large data-sets
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mind
- Efficiency in communicating both verbal and written thought the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
