Job purpose
Working in a multi-national environment, the Enterprise Intelligence team works closely with clients in order to manage engagements and lead teams of data analysis resources covering all aspects related to design and provision of information solutions (e.g. Data Management, Reporting & Analytics). Working in this creative environment, you will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibilities on challenging projects by gaining exposure to various sectors, both within Greece and the Central South & East Europe (CSE) region.
EY’s Information Technology Advisory Services (ITAS) practice provides business driven technology advisory services within sectors related to technology strategy and enablement, information management services, market/credit and operational risk, and security.
In our efforts to enhance further our portfolio of services within Advisory practice in Greece and to build a team specializing in Enterprise Intelligence, we are currently looking for professionals at senior and managerial level.
Desired Experience
Candidates should demonstrate understanding and/or experience in one or more of the following:
- Experience in data modeling (Entity-Relationship models) for data warehousing and operational data stores. Ideally, must have gone through at least one full life cycle implementation.
- Design and implementation of an ETL solution using one of the leading ETL packages (e.g. Informatica, IBM DataStage).
- Design and implementation of an operational data store and/or data warehouse on one of the leading platforms (e.g., Oracle Exadata, DB2, Teradata, Sybase, SQL Server, IBM Netezza).
- Experience with Big Data/In Memory technologies, such as Hadoop, SAP HANA, IBM BigInsights, etc. is of interest.
- Ability to conduct discovery, perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations for the remediation of data quality issues.
- Experience with key data quality applications available in market.
- Design and implementation in at least one of leading Business Intelligence packages (e.g., Oracle BIEE, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, MicroStrategy, QlikView, SAS).
- Design and implementation in at least one of the leading Data Visualization packages (e.g.Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, etc.).
Requirements
- Excellent academic background including a bachelor and/or master degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information technology and/ or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
- 2 – 10 years of relevant experience working in a professional services environment.
- Written, verbal, and presentation skills both in Greek and English.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Advanced MS Office user.
- Excellent teamwork.
- Flexibility with travelling.
