Our client, a leading Gaming Organization, is seeking to recruit a qualified Communications Director.
Responsibilities
- Create and oversee public relations, media relations and social media strategies that create exposure and position the organization as a leader in the market
- Responsible for the formulation of objectives and the creation of the Communication Strategy in cooperation with owners, CEO COO in order to positively position the organization to its stakeholders
- Design and develop the company’s Communication Policies in line with its strategic objectives, taking into consideration the changing external environment in order to promote and develop the Company’s public image
- Responsible for the design and implementation of the Organization’s PR activities by working closely with the Management team
- Manage and execute thought leadership initiatives in support of the Strategic Blueprint
- Invigorate the development and implementation of strategic internal communications in order to create a strong entrepreneurial culture, create employee engagement and enhance culture and employee experience
- Actively participate in the formulation of an effective Internal Communications strategy and engagement within the organization
- Effectively supports the Management Team of two properties in situations that require crisis management strategies by providing relative communication tools
- Create and implement business continuity strategy for Internal Media to ensure it remains a functioning source of information for employees during an emergency
- Process and shape the Organization’s Identity, organize corporate advertising campaigns, coordinate all advertising and promotional projects (products and services)
- Conceive, formulate and deploy Corporate Relations activities for special audiences (Opinion Leaders, local communities, NPO et) in cooperation with relative depts
- Provide support on events on Enterprise Level such as Executive meetings, public events etc.
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all communication related programs and activities
- Keep abreast of industry and competitive news and trends
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with the list of responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in relationship building and solicitation
- Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Public Administration/Affairs
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in both public/corporate relations and Communication
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to create a compelling case for support
- Strategic, critical, creative, and innovative thinking
- Experience managing and developing a team of direct reports in a relevant position
- Ability to create and grow strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
- Experience overseeing the development of communication and/or messaging of internal brand strategies or culture for diverse audiences
- Experience in social media and other communication technologies/tools
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results
