ICAP Executive Search on behalf of our client, a major Telecommunications organization, is seeking a skilled and driven professional for the role of the Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise preparation of financial reporting on management accounting basis, ensuring relevance and accuracy of information to internal and external stakeholders
- Major contributor in preparation of documents/presentations directed to BoD as well as IR announcements
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company´s actual performance compared to the business plans
- Coordinate the preparation of company´s budget and present top management with monthly reviews of performance against budget targets as well as near-term projections
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Analyse company & market trends and develop company Long Range Plan
- Coordinate financial evaluation of critical projects (e.g. M&As, joint ventures, Financing, etc.) and interact with external partners (i.e. Consulting/Legal firms)
- Coordinate the preparation of reporting obligations to 3rd parties (e.g. Regulatory authorities etc.)
- Ensure quality control over financial reporting
Qualifications & Skills
Candidate Profile:
- 5 years of overall managerial and/or senior finance analyst/consultant experience, possibly gained in telecoms related industry
- Advanced degree in Finance and/or MBA
- Solid understanding of financial valuation and accounting principles
- Experience in financial modelling
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Involvement in Due Diligence processes and M&A support team would be considered a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking combined with business presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Detail oriented with insight to determine applicability of big picture analysis
- Ability to think creatively, accompanied with strong analytical and organizational skills
