As a Junior Project Manager within the Technology department, you will be supporting the Project Management team across all Project Management disciplines like risk and issue management, change management, project planning, and ensure quality control and assurance practises on all aspects of project definition and delivery.
Responsibilities
In detail, you would:
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Help prepare project proposals, time-frames, schedule and budget
- Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information
- Make certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
- Use project management tools to monitor time-frames, budget and plans
- Track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports
- Report and escalate to management as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Great educational background, preferably in financial or technical related field
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Strong working knowledge of G Suite
- Strong working knowledge of Project Management tools (knowledge of Atlassian JIRA is a plus)
- Solid understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Any Project Management certifications would be considered an additional asset
- Previous experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector would be considered an additional asset
