Grant Thornton Greece is currently seeking to employ one or more Manager Advisor in the Financial Services Sector. (Ref: 17/104)
Responsibilities
- Provide consulting ,assurance or compliance services to financial institutions or regulators
- Identify and propose solutions to complex issues
- Take ownership of predefined engagement areas, demonstrate good project management skills
- Deliver excellent client service
- Work in a team of qualified, highly motivated professionals
- Identify opportunities for improvement and be resourceful in making them happen
- Anticipate change and encourage others to perform confidently in ambiguity
- Ability to deal appropriately with confidential issues
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in accounting or finance, a Master’s degree or a professional qualification will count positively
- CFA qualification will be a plus
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Banking sector, e.g. Credit division, workout division or experience in Audit/Advisory firm e.g. credit risk assessment, restructuring
- Good knowledge of banking regulatory framework and especially in Credit Risk Management
- Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills
- Committed to excellence; efficient and effective when it comes to deadlines
- Able to identify business opportunities and contribute to the practice through proactive interactions with Firm’s and clients’ senior management
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
