Responsibilities

To lead in translating our business priorities into meaningful media objectives and in developing the right 360 media strategy to deliver them, ensuring a strong digital footprint.

The Media & Digital Manager will be responsible to monitor, evaluate and optimize media performance against set KPIs on an ongoing basis, within the available budget. She / He should act as a thought leader, proactively identifying and leveraging on any relevant opportunities amongst the latest media and digital trends, consumer insights and emerging technologies.

The role aspiration is to act as a catalyst in transforming Vodafone into the #1 digital telco brand.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Be an integral part of Vodafone’s digital marketing acceleration team, driving all brand-related workstreams towards becoming the #1 telco brand.
  • Define media objectives as well as generate, monitor and evaluate the right 360 strategy to serve them, in alignment with set business goals and priorities
  • Continually measure, monitor and optimize media performance and ensure media budget efficiency.
  • Particularly focus on our digital performance (incl. SEM, social media, performance campaigns), initiating ways to ensure a strong and distinctive digital footprint.
  • Keep abreast of the latest media and digital trends, emerging technologies and consumer insights and translate them into meaningful media initiatives
  • Work closely with the marketing teams to understand customer needs and target audiences as well as engage our media agencies, in order to deliver a consumer-driven and insights-led media strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication or Business. A master’s degree will be considered a plus.
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in digital marketing within a media agency or at the digital department of a multinational company. Additional
  • experience in traditional media will be considered a plus.
  • Business acumen & data-driven thinking
  • Good leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of contemporary media, including those at the cutting edge of online technology
  • Fluency in English
