The purpose of Retail Marketing Specialist is to support the Retail Marketing team to successfully implement marketing & communication plan through key strategic and tactical initiatives.
Responsibilities
The Retail Marketing Specialist more specifically:
- Collaborates with Product, Customer and Procurement Teams for the planning, preparation and implementation of all in-store activation, including POP materials and promotions
- Understands company’s marketing communication plan and proposes ideas
- Co-operates with Customer Team for the submission of all communication proposals to the Hellenic Gaming Commission
- Owns the POP materials’ life-cycle (material R&D & specs, procurement, concept/artwork development, distribution, evaluation) by defining the most efficient ideas/solutions that will
- provide the respective customer journey and the merchandising guidelines as well
- Collaborates with Retail Team to create “selling stories” & sales aid tools, to demonstrate product offering effectively and also achieve the sales targets
- Monitors closely the implementation of agreed in-store merchandising guidelines according to the marketing and communication plan
- Performs regular visits in OPAP network to provide relevant market insights and propose effective solutions aiming to improve the optimum customer journey
Qualifications
- A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or relevant field. A Postgraduate Degree will be also preferable
- 5+ years’ professional experience in Retail, Marketing or Trade Marketing position
- Customer service excellence with ability to detect customer insights and translate them into solid proposition
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Greek languages (written and oral)
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Ability to take the right initiatives when necessary with a “can do” approach
- Adaptability, flexibility and ability to feel comfortable in a large matrix organizational scheme
- A genuine team player, with result oriented spirit, working under strict deadlines
- Willingness to travel, valid driving license (category B)
- Fulfilled military services (for male candidates)
