Position summary
As an Actuarial/Risk Analyst you will be responsible for developing business focused pricing models and performing actuarial pricing analyses mainly for two new products that will be launched by the company. You will be a member of our Commercial department and report to the Commercial Director.
Responsibilities
- Work on the design of 2 new company products from the initial analysis to the implementation stage through cooperation with cross functional teams
- Create the pricing policy for the products
- Assess the risk exposure of the company with regards to these and other products
- Define KPIs per product and assess them regularly in order to make decisions regarding our pricing and product offering
- Support the products after their launch via monitoring KPIs and optimization when necessary
- Optimize/ Support other company products per request
- Produce ad hoc reports per request and present findings to stakeholders
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, statistics or math
- 2-3 years previous work experience in similar position will be considered a plus
- Business acumen and excellent financial understanding
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, statistical analysis programs and/or programming languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English
