Mouzenidis Travel S.A., a leading Greece tour operator, is seeking a professional to cover the following position: Business Analyst/Finance Business Process Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Examines existing Finance processes and evaluates them within the context of organizational goals
- Coordinates activities of individuals and departments involved in a particular process to ensure that they are working as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Identifies potential areas of vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provides general guidance to management on how to avoid or deal with similar situation in the future
- Monitors performance of compliance program and related activities on a continuous basis, taking appropriate steps to improve effectiveness and enforce standards
- Looks for improvement opportunities in business process and systems
- Lead and assist with documenting of business processes, controls and standard operating procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, computer science or information systems or combination of education, training. A Postgraduate Degree will be also preferable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to operate successfully in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
- Understands complexities of the business; Involves others appropriately in consultations and decisions
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) both in English and Greek languages
- Fulfilled military services
- SQL, BPA Tools, BI Tools (Power BI, Clickview)
- Experience Required: 5+ years relevant experience within a corporate setting
- Exposure to the tourism industry will be considered an asset
