ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, a leading multinational company in the Maritime Industry, is looking for an experienced professional to cover the role of Business Development Specialist – Maritime Industry (Ref. 3785/BD/ESS/GR).
Responsibilities
- Market research – Identifying new sales leads in the Greek/Turkish/Cypriot Market
- Participate in client meetings with Ship Owners and Top Management within the Greek/Turkish/Cypriot Shipping
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing and potential customers
- Contacting clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Attending conferences and industry events
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and liaise with HQ’s with regards to marketing material
- Hospitality of HQ’s delegation
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree preferably in shipping
- 1 – 3 years of experience within the maritime business will be a definite plus
- Fluent English (spoken/written)
- Very good Microsoft Office Skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently outside Greece
