The Digital Development Specialist will be part of the team responsible for the development of all OPAP’s online and in store digital assets, working together with the Technology Team and ensuring that the business priorities are served according to the company’s strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Accepts briefs from Marketing segments and functions for the delivery of new developments or enhancements in OPAP’s digital assets
- Transforms the briefs into requirements for the Technology Team
- Acts as a central point of contact between marketing functions and technology throughout the projects’ lifecycle
- Closely monitors and coordinates cross functional projects, handles all project related issues and leads project endeavors so as to ensure proper delivery in terms of scope, time and quality
- Collaborates with technical teams (internal and external) for the websites’ and mobile applications’ functions and specifications
- Liaises with OPAP’s Technology team so as to ensure the proper execution of projects through external vendors
- Collaborates with internal digital reporting and optimization department to ensure that all digital assets have reporting capabilities built in
- Works closely with Internal Digital Communication team in order to build effective sales promotions strategies aiming to increase traffic and sales
- Proposes and implements extra features across digital assets, resolves operational problems and identifies work process improvements whenever applicable
- Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Marketing. Also a Postgraduate Degree will be preferable
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in e-commerce or online marketing within a multinational environment
- Ability to understand the technology landscape and digital assets technology architecture. Awareness of Web and Mobile trends
- Experience in managing or coordinating projects and handling cross functional teams
- Strong online marketing skills and knowledge of all digital channels is considered essential
- Awareness of OPAP’s product portfolio as well as the online gaming market (lotteries, sportsbook) will be considered as a plus
- Customer Service mentality and willingness to go the extra mile in order to exceptionally deliver to the customer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Greek
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under strict deadlines and pressure
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Data driven thinking
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- A genuine team player that works efficiently both on his / her own and within a team
- Computer literate with extensive knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Fulfilled military services (male candidates)
