The Financial Analyst will be a part of CEE Finance team for “Services” segment of Microsoft supporting multiple CEE subsidiaries, and work closely with the CEE HQ Finance team to provide financial analysis and process support.
Responsibilities
- Provide insights on key business drivers which contribute to profitable growth
- Preparation of monthly Revenue and P&L analysis, review with Subsidiary and Area HQ Financial Controlling Team and Business Partners
- Coordinating Services month close activities and analysis (incl. support of transition as during FY18 the Close activity is planned to be centralized)
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process from finance side
- Ongoing CEE Subsidiaries finance support
- Assistance in preparation of regular subsidiary reviews incl. Compliance
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Essential Experience and Education
- Minimum 3 years working experience in an international environment in Finance or related field (Accountancy, Audit), preferably in CEE region
- Expertise in Finance operations and Accounting
- Fluency in English is a requirement – your business partners are English speaking
- Czech language is not required
- Strong PC skills (Advanced Excel and other MS Office Product are a must)
- Bachelor/Master degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Cross-cultural communication, virtual cooperation (your counterparts are based in various CEE countries)
- Great planning, organizing and coordinating skills
- Positive can-do attitude, adaptability to changing environment
- Ability to synthetize data and translate to insights
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem solver and customer oriented approach
