Fleet Analyst will be performing research and analytical tasks for the Fleet Management Business Unit, related to areas of cost management, vehicle forecasting and performance benchmarking . He will also analyze and certify data, troubleshoot data issues and promote data quality. This critical activity requires consistent communication with other departments, data gathering and analysis as well as managing tools and processes to enable high quality revenue management. The role reports to the Fleet General Director

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality quantitative analysis, analyze data to validate business needs, understand gaps, quality concerns to support own recommendations
  • Communicate and relationship with key stakeholders in other departments
  • Support communication and reporting through large sets of data that require analysis and validation using various tools
  • Analysis on manufacturer’s and dealer’s discount policies and comparisons
  • Conducts cost studies on operation and maintenance of fleet and analyzes operating cost data to identify units requiring corrective action
  • Analyze the utilization of fleet and makes recommendations for discontinuance and reassignment of units so as to minimize costs and maximize the unit’s impact
  • Perform monthly performance benchmarking analysis to key performance indicators
  • Produce monthly metrics packs across all Supplier Management area’s for review across the business
  • Responsible for the setting of Maintenance budgets for the funded fleet ensuring these are competitive while managing risk appetite
  • Monitor performance against these budgets and make adjustments/recommendations where necessary

Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree in Mathematics, Statistics or in relevant field is essential. Any master degree will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral & written)
  • Excellent command of MS-Office applications
  • Customer focus: understand the needs of internal and external customers and respond promptly
  • Strong analytical abilities in order to see through the data and analyze to find conclusions
  • Critical thinking to come to conclusions based on the findings
  • Strong communication and organization skills with attention to details
  • Time management skills within a dynamic working environment
