Mackenzie Stuart are working on behalf of an industry leading Terminal Operator who are seeking a Deputy Managing Director – Sales (Europe) to be based in Athens, Greece.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the MD, perform commercial management in the region (Europe)
- Proactively hunt new business with shipping lines & develop existing accounts
- Propose commercial strategy for Europe region
- Monitor market information and trends, identify areas of growth
- Participate in project developments worldwide, co-ordinating with other regional heads
- Responsible for regional budgets, management and team development
Qualifications & Skills
- Must have Bachelor’s degree
- More than 10 years’ experience in Shipping or Ports/Terminals industries across Sales, Business Development and/or General Management
- Experience leading large regions or multiple countries is beneficial
- Previous P+L experience is advantageous
- Strong network of industry contacts
