Carky is a fast growing start-up in the mobility space. We are searching for an ambitious and dynamic Head Accountant – Financial Modeller to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with external accountants to manage payroll, revenues/expenses, and preparation of monthly statements for submission
- Generate financial statements and ratios using advanced modelling scenarios based on internal and external factors and explanations as to what the modelling tells us so appropriate business decisions can me made
- Support the budget and forecasting processes by providing analysis and problem-solving commentary on underlying business performance
- Tracking delivery of business initiatives and providing insight and analysis for success criteria.
- Working with key business stakeholders ensuring understanding of the drivers of profitability and the communication of changes in profitability both current and future, affecting the delivery capability of relevant initiatives
- Provide ad hoc reporting to the Management team
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to analyse results set goals and budgets and monitor these on a daily basis.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in similar role
- Experience setting up in house accounting department
- Expert knowledge of ERP software
- Advanced financial modelling and data visualisation skills and knowledge
- BSc or Masters Degree in relevant field
- Experience in Auditing/Accounting firm or Investment bank is a plus
