Company Description
We are currently setting up the Reporting and Business Intelligence team and looking for an experienced business analyst / business intelligence specialist, who will own the entire range of reporting process within the organization, collaborating with all the business functions.
To succeed in this role, you should be reliable, thorough and analytical, eager to take initiatives and own responsibility. A great fit would be a task-oriented and highly organized individual that demonstrates can-do attitude and problem-solving skills. Team spirit, professional attitude and business ethics will be also highly appreciated.
Reporting to the upper management, your main responsibilities will include the following:
- Setup the reporting / Business Intelligence system, providing dashboards, real-time reporting of KPIs as well as ad-hoc reports for the management team
- Analyze data and provide insights to the management team
- Understand business needs and priorities and assist product teams to define optimal KPIs, monitor them and course-correct
- Lead the effort in evaluating new technologies so as to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within organization to cover Business Intelligence needs
- Lead the effort to research, setup, develop and establish a new system that will provide real time analytics across functions and help the company scale
Qualifications & Skills
Although we are proud to hire for personality, we have also identified the following qualifications as necessary for this role:
- At least 3 years of proven working experience in a similar role
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development and segmentation techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, reporting packages, MySQL databases, programming
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
- Strong business-oriented analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
