Requirements
- Ensuring that all Human Resources policies, procedures and practices are in line with best practice and comply with current legislation
- Offer support and advice to the Management Team and employees.
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Human Resources responsibilities and project
- Handle personnel administration and ensure that all employee files and records are kept in confidential and safe manner and up-to-date
- Assist in the implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice – updated according to legislation
- Update, maintain and implement the Company policies and procedures required by and in line with legislation and in consultation with Management
- Monthly salaries processing; preparation and submitting all statutory returns
- Administrate and facilitate the Company’s Performance Management Program
- Maintain and Administer the company’s Group Benefit Schemes
- Support and administer the Recruitment and Selection function in line with best practice
- Conduct negotiations within a unionised environment and deal proactively with labour related issues with the assistance of Management
- Adhere to and implement sound Industrial Relations
- Work closely with the Heads of Departments & employees to ensure Health and Safety is compliant with legislation and best practice
- Support Organizational Development Initiatives within business areas
- Work closely with internal staff members in providing training programs that are appropriate to the role
- Administration of personnel statistics and employee information
- Support the implementation of the Regional Human resources activities
- Compile ad hoc reports when required by Region and by Corporate Headquarters
- Manage the Regional reporting system and produce monthly analysis
- Regional data collection
- Assure and guarantee that all HR Corporate projects are successfully implemented
- Manage the monitoring of corporate performance management process in a timely & quality manner
- Implement & manage ad hoc projects & duties as may be required & assigned from time to time
- Performing ad hoc responsibilities/ projects as assigned by direct supervisor
- Comply, at all times, with corporate Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
Qualifications
- University level educational background in the area of Business or Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Human Resources
- Minimum 2 years of experience/ specialization in training and development process.
- Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously
- Sound experience in implementing development activities
- Business oriented, ability to liaise as a business partner
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Pragmatic approach in roll-out of development solutions
- Able to act according to the corporate standards of ethics and integrity
- Methodical, organized and rigorous personality
- High level of English language
