CALYPSO, a lifestyle management company located in Voula, Greece, is looking for an organized, efficient, and competent HR Specialist with a passion for human resources and elite customer service.
This unique, fast-paced role will encompass a wide range of HR duties and interface with both internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
As the HR Specialist with CALYPSO, you will be responsible for all internal employment-related matters, including:
- Managing new hire recruitment process (job creation, job posting, candidate screening, interviews, on-board training, induction, etc.)
- Defining roles, best practices and procedures
- Managing employee performance reviews and, as needed, individual employee development plans
- Maintaining a detailed and accurate HR filing and record management system
- Researching and investigating employee concerns in order to effectively mediate and/or suggest appropriate solutions
- Advising managers and supervisors in all employee-related matters, including compensation, benefits, retention, policy, etc
As the HR Specialist, you will use your HR knowledge to provide five-star customer service to CALYPSO clients regarding their personal employees and any human resource-related issues they may have. Responsibilities may also include:
- Sourcing, hiring, terminating (when necessary) and managing property and yacht employees for CALYPSO clients
- Coordinating on-boarding processes and training activities specific to the lifestyle management needs of our customers
- Responding effectively to queries regarding employment-related issues, such as policies and procedures, employment regulations, taxes, vacation and leave time, and employment verification
- Maintaining detailed and accurate employee data for our clients, including their employees’ payroll and benefits records
- Documenting and eloquently communicating policies and procedures
- Managing, for our clients, their employees’ performance reviews and, as needed, individual employee development plans
- Recommending and implementing practices to improve employee productivity and quality
- Serving as the point of contact for all of our clients’ HR-related matters
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Basic knowledge of HR disciplines (recruitment, employment law, retention, performance management, organizational design, and compensation)
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
