Responsibilities
- Perform analysis on a variety of investments that encompass liquid markets investing
- Perform analysis on trade structuring and make recommendations as appropriate
- Provide day-to-day investment reporting and analysis
- Assist in trading positions
- Perform quantitative analysis on individual positions and aggregate portfolios
- Prepare investment recommendation memos
- Prepare risk management reports for a variety of stakeholders
- Generate new investment theses and help shape portfolio strategy
- Liaise with other departments in order to support the investment department
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a history of academic achievement
- MBA is preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years of trading, investment banking, or risk management experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in a team environment; collaborative, energized by the open exchange of ideas
- Highly motivated; strong desire to learn
- Ability to adapt quickly and appropriately in accordance with the constant evolution of the company and industry
- Experience working within a regulated environment
