Ferryhopper is a newly launched web tool which aims to simplify ferry travelling across Greece, Italy and Turkey. Ferryhopper was the first to establish ferry travel with correspondence in intermediate islands.

Our goal is to promote ferry-hopping culture, enhance the booking and travelling experience and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Ferryhopper is looking for a Marketing and PR Communication Specialist, to join our team, based in Athens, Greece.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Design and implementation the yearly marketing plan
  • Preparation and management of Social Media content i.e. campaigns and daily posting in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts
  • Monitoring of the competitors Social Media channels, as well as travel forums
  • Reporting and evaluation of results of Media campaigns
  • Communication with international travel bloggers
  • Management of collaborations and affiliations to increase website traffic
  • Creation and dispatch of newsletters and management of the e-mail marketing campaigns

Qualifications & Skills

  • Passion for Communication
  • Expertise in Social Media
  • Experience in digital marketing (PPC, SEO, SEM, Google Adwords, Google/Adobe analytics, Social Ads, etc), as well as in e-mail marketing
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) & analytical skills
  • Proficiency in English. Italian and/or French are also accredited!
  • Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustator (or the open source equivalents) would be desirable
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or relevant degree
  • Experience in relevant position min 2 years
  • Experience in travel/tourism industry is an asset
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint
