The Marketing Executive will be responsible for providing support to the Head of Marketing and Marketing Managers to deliver the daily implementation of initiatives across key marketing channels. This person will report to the Head of Marketing and work across our corporate business areas.
Responsibilities
Marketing executive activities include but not limited to:
- liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
- sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in various channels;
- managing the production of marketing materials, which include but not limited to: leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
- developing and maintaining key presentations;
- writing and proofreading copy;
- liaising with designers and printers;
- arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- maintaining and updating customer databases;
- organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
- conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups to analyze trends;
- evaluating marketing campaigns;
- supporting marketing events;
- monitoring competitor activity.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years solid background in Marketing;
- highly proficient in spoken and written English;
- Marketing today is Math. Knowledge of mathematics is a must have;
- IT literacy. MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) is a must have;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Highly organised, anticipating needs and over-delivering wherever possible;
- Creativity and innovation with the ability to think outside the norm and approach all issues with a completely fresh approach;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to advocate the brand at all levels;
- business awareness;
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) will be considered as a strong asset;
- Knowledge of loyalty and CRM will be considered as a strong asset.
