Optimal HR Group, on behalf of its client-a leading Asset Management platform- is looking to recruit a Real Estate Portfolio Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and disposal of the company’s portfolio by establishing a network of brokers, investors and intermediaries throughout the country and the protocols/workflows with them. The function is also responsible for the coordinated internal distribution and use of RE information.

Responsibilities

  • Disposal of properties (execution of sales and conducting of negotiations)
  • Management and maintenance of properties
  • Identify, evaluate/monitor and maintain relationships with local broker companies, investors and intermediaries with different areas of expertise/interest by geography, asset type
  • Analysis of different RE markets
  • Monitor and Control sale process of RE portfolio
  • Ensure that documentation regarding the properties under his/her management is obtained and properly archived
  • Ensure that property owner legal obligations are met
  • Survey continuously the market conditions related to each and every property under his/her management, using for that purpose the more suitable means (site visits, broker opinions, valuators, etc), namely proposing the engagement of experts to evaluate the properties and propose alternative scenarios to enhance results
  • Propose adjustments to property values, marketing conditions, capex, and any other relevant measures that will allow the meeting of the objectives set up in the business plan
  • Recommend reviews of the business plan whenever circumstances change, and in a supported manner propose its approval
  • Continuously plan his/her activity in order to achieve the objectives set up in the business plan
  • Make an assessment of the properties conditions once they are repossessed
  • Ensure that all required actions are initiated upon repossession that will allow an update of property value and the definition of strategy and timings for sales
  • Update any impacts on the business plan whenever events may change the expected cash flows generated through a property
  • Update all relevant information regarding properties under his/her management
  • Manage the activity having in mind the business plan expectations for the set of properties under his/her management
  • Identify and actively manage the relationship with potential buyers or brokers selling of the property in the open market

Requirements

  • Strong business experience in Real Estate is essential
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business is desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a RE or Construction Company or as a Local Broker (API)
  • Commercially focused
  • Knowledge of the local RE Market and its players
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Access)
  • Negotiation and influencing capacity
  • Organizational skills: multitasking, time management
  • Dynamic & flexible personality
  • Initiative & transparency
  • Capacity to work under pressure with demanding objectives
  • Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written). Knowledge of Spanish is optional
