The Securitisation and Covered Bonds Analyst belongs to the Capital Management and Banking Supervision Division and reports to a Senior Officer. S/he will be responsible for activities covering securitisation, cover bonds and credit risk within our Group. The ideal candidate should possess team abilities along with strong analytical skills, sound judgment and critical thinking. S/he should demonstrate a high degree of ethical standards and work ethics along with interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform all activities required from the Originator/ Servicer for the conclusion of structured finance transactions
- Service existing securitisation transactions and covered bond programme, including monitoring and reporting
- Monitor and analyse portfolios of the Bank and the Group for potential utilisation in structured finance transactions
- Produce extensive analyses, annual reviews and amendments for existing lending relationships
- Monitor the relevant legal framework and rate agencies’ methodologies
- Prepare advanced internal reporting and presentations to Management
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g. Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Accounting or other related discipline)
- Postgraduate degree in the above mentioned fields and/or professional qualifications such as CFA/ CRM/ ACCA will be positively considered
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in banking or financial sector
- Outstanding academic track records coupled with continued interest in learning and professional growth
- Familiarisation with banking portfolios in terms of products and services
- Working knowledge of key market concepts
- Solution-oriented mindset and attention-to-detail approach
- Proficient in MS Office (focus on Excel functions and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and Greek
