blueground is a venture capital backed technology and hospitality company that offers beautifully furnished and serviced apartments to business travelers and expats for mid to long term duration (1+ months). The company has demonstrated an exponential growth consistently over the last years in the markets that is active: Athens, Istanbul, Dubai and New York City.
We our looking to recruit an E-Commerce Manager based in Athens to join our central channel management projects. The primary aim of the job is to manage efficiently blueground properties’ listing process in on-line channels and handle guests’ bookings/reservations as to maximize their utilization and occupancy across blueground markets.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and update property information on listing sites/channels in order to maximize online exposure
- Research local market prices and perform yield pricing management
- Process all reservation requests in a timely manner and negotiate prices
- Liaise internally with operations support department in order to communicate and satisfy guest’s requests/issues
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts and growth plans with current and prospective on-line sales channel partners
- Monitor the outcome of sales on-line efforts by keeping an eye on KPIs set by senior management, including reports to be presented to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain successful and lucrative relationships with company partners (homeowners, listing websites, travel agencies, etc)
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree preferably in Marketing or Hospitality from a top-tier university
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a e-shop or e-commerce operations (of the hospitality sector will be considered an asset)
- Fluent in English + 1 foreign language
- Computer literate and good knowledge of on-line marketing tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service attitude and team player
