As a Settlement Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day duties supporting the Settlement Processing for the purpose of payment processing, as well as prompt resolution of all problems which may arise related to settlements.
Responsibilities
The role responsibilities includes the following:
- Set up Settlement Processes
- Verification of all funds available and approve all settlements
- Perform accurate data input into multiple systems as needed
- Process under-funded or past due settlements
- Research and resolve customer complaints
- Research and review requested refunds
- Obtain all required documents needed to resolve any problems with account
- Reconciliation on a per transaction level for acquiring & issuing
- Follow up for exceptions with schemes & banks
- Liaison with customer care department to correct any errors on settlement requests
- Troubleshooting for exceptional cases and authorization for adjustments
- Net position with schemes for total transaction figures i.e. named amounts / interchange fee/ cost ++ model
- Execution & Reconciliation of daily transactional activity
- Confiscations handling, review and execution
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant higher education or certification
- 7 at least years of relevant Banking experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Highly motivated
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
- Attention to detail
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office and literacy with computers
- Effective time management and ability to multi-task
- Background as a data analyst will be a plus
