Requirements
- Devise and use fruitful procurement strategies
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Examine existing contracts
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce procurement expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Qualifications
- Degree in Technical and Economic Direction (Desired title in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or Economics)
- Post graduate education will be considered as an asset.
- Proven working experience at least 3-5 years as Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer for packaging materials and finished products
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Desired experience in SAP
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in forecasting the market
- Aptitude in decision-making, working with numbers, collecting and analyzing data
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Strong leadership capabilities
