Alpha Bank is looking for Real Estate Finance Officers.
The Structured Finance Division plays a key role in the development, promotion and coordination of the Bank’s operations and the Group’s Companies in Project Finance, Real Estate Finance as well as other structured finance transactions that are financed with limited recourse to the stakeholders. The operational tasks of the aforementioned Division include but are not limited to the below mentioned activities:
Financing of Real Estate Investment for the management and development of real estate,providing advisory services for private and/or public real estate projects, management of the loans portfolio through acquisitions and sales of holdings and monitoring both the local and the international trends in the real estate industry.
Responsibilities
A. Real Estate Finance Officer – Reference Code: REO1117
- Analysing the business plan and the business model of the investor/sponsor who aims to finance the Project
- Drafting the banking financial model and analysing the prospectus in case of an international syndicated financing
- Analysing credit risk (credit rating of the borrower and rating of potential loss)
- Supervising all the external parties involved in the Project (e.g. technical, legal, insurance, tax advisors) in terms of monitoring and negotiating the legal texts of the financing
- Monitoring the progress of loans, the repayments made against the respective agreements and the progress achieved in the corresponding projects and investigating the possibility of repetitive activities
- Analysing, negotiating and submitting proposals on issues concerning the settlement and restructuring of debts from financing arrangements
B. Real Estate Finance Senior Officer – Reference Code: RES1117
All the above mentioned tasks related to the position of Real Estate Finance Officer, plus:
- Implementing the Project financing in collaboration with other Units of the Bank
- Drafting the Project update on an annual and/or periodical basis
- Providing advisory services to private and public entities pertaining to real estate development and financing projects, privatisations and other related activities
- Monitoring the increase of volumes and revenues by expanding the relationships with existing Customers and by attracting new ones
- Training, supervising and coordinating the associated Project Managers per case
Qualifications & Skills
For both positions:
- Bachelor’s degree mainly in Finance or a quantitative field of study
- A postgraduate degree in ΜΒΑ, Finance or any other related discipline is a must
- At least five (5) years of professional experience in real estate, project finance, structured finance and/or corporate banking
- Knowledge of credit agreements management and negotiation issues
- Vast knowledge of syndicated loans and similar financing products, leasing and factoring
- Very good knowledge of tax and accounting issues and financial statement analysis
- Knowledge of management, civil and commercial law (will be considered a plus)
- Knowledge of credit risk management techniques and debt settlement issues
- Very good knowledge of corporate transformation issues
- Proficient user of the MS Office suite
- Excellent command of the English language
For the position of Real Estate Finance Senior Officer
All the above mentioned skills, plus:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience in real estate finance, project finance, structured finance and/or corporate banking
- Strong exposure in capital market issues
- Excellent knowledge of corporate transformation issues
- Well-rounded personality with proven people management and development skills
