In the Revenue Management and Inventory team there is currently the vacancy of Revenue Management Point to Point Analyst.
Responsibilities
The Revenue Management and Inventory team is in charge of the revenue optimization of the company’s scheduled flights along with the pricing, aircraft seat inventory & distribution. The RM Point to Point Analyst will be responsible for the maximization of revenue per flight in the markets assigned, taking into account the demand elasticity, forecast and market characteristics.
The analyst will create and adjust revenue management strategies for each market and proactively take all measures to achieve the best possible result. The position reports to RM Point to Point Team Leader.
This position brings along the following responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility of generated revenue on assigned routes
- Deliver budgeted revenue targets for the portfolio under his/her management
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies on a given set of routes
- Set up optimization parameters and monitor alerts, holidays and special events, ensuring performance as planned
- Regular monitoring of route performance and competition
- Monitor demand and system proposed forecast and take corrective actions where needed
- Conduct post-departure analysis on spill, spoilage, denied boarding and show-up ratios and adjust overbooking levels accordingly
- Extensive analysis and interpretation of available data being able to extract meaningful information, identify trends, support decision making, implement corrective measures and audit applied strategies
- Identification of extraordinary flight development, threats and opportunities through the Revenue
- Management System and independent evaluation and implementation of adjustments
- Interaction and feedback with local markets

And the following educational requirements and work experience:
- Bachelor degree with focus in a quantitative discipline
- Master degree will be considered an asset
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Work experience in an analytical and decisive position will be considered an asset
