Jacobs Douwe Egberts is looking for a Trade Category Specialist reporting to Shopper Marketing Manager GR and be responsible for:
- Identifying category growth opportunities that are anchored in fact based insights and defining the Perfect Store Trade story for the retail coffee segment
- Translating insights into convincing trade argumentations targeting to maximize profitability of the coffee market, aligning retailer strategy with category and OpEx guidelines and priorities
- Creating a trade story for NPDs for local customers together with marketing
- Creating and executing the local Category Plan by developing all sources of growth and monitoring the overall shelf vision for the full category based on relevant category & shopper insights
- Securing in store assets continuous optimization (WD/Shelf metrics KPIs/In store visibility).
- Supporting marketing to develop the annual Marketing and Brand Plans – setting distribution targets by account; defining, executing and evaluating in-store activation plan etc
- Working closely with different functions (Field Sales, Marketing, KAMs etc) in order to provide the best possible service required to customers & business needs
Qualifications
- A Bachelor Degree in Business; an MBA or Master will be considered an asset
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing; experience in Sales will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of relevant IS tools (ac nielsen , spaceman)
- FMCG market knowledge
- Proficiency in using MS Office and especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills with a market-oriented approach and team-player spirit
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to identify and act upon business opportunities
